    We are seeking a Production Supervisor for our Fluid Connectors operations in Toluca. This role is responsible for leading a production team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of fluid connector products (e.g., hoses, fittings, couplings, and related assemblies).

    + Production Management

    + Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities to meet output and on-time delivery goals.

    + Balance workloads, allocate labor and equipment, and monitor WIP to avoid bottlenecks.

    + Ensure adherence to production plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.

    + People Leadership

    + Lead, coach, and develop a team of operators and line leaders across multiple shifts.

    + Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs.

    + Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

    + Quality & Compliance

    + Ensure products meet all quality specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.

    + Collaborate with Quality to address non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

    + Maintain compliance with ISO/IATF and internal quality system requirements.

    + Safety & 5S

    + Enforce safety rules and company policies; ensure use of PPE and safe work practices.

    + Lead safety talks, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

    + Drive 5S and housekeeping standards across the production area.

    + Continuous Improvement & Cost Control

    + Apply Lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, standard work, value stream mapping) to improve productivity and reduce waste.

    + Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including OEE, scrap, rework, labor efficiency, and downtime.

    + Support cost reduction initiatives and efficiency projects in collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance.

    + Coordination & Communication

    + Coordinate with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse to ensure material availability and equipment readiness.

    + Report shift results, issues, and action plans to management.

    + Participate in daily production meetings and support cross-functional projects.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive, fluid systems, or metal/rubber components.

    + Experience managing teams in a high-volume production setting.

    + Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and basic problem-solving tools.

    + Ability to read technical drawings and understand manufacturing specifications.

    + Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic ERP/MRP systems.

    + Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

    + Availability to work shifts and overtime as required.

    + Preferred:

    + Experience in fluid connectors or similar products (hoses, fittings, couplings, assemblies).

    + Exposure to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 environments.

    + Intermediate English (written and spoken).

    + Experience with OEE tracking, KPIs, and continuous improvement projects.

    + Ability to motivate and develop teams.
