Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will play a crucial role in the production process. You will be responsible for reading tape measures, marking fabric, folding flaps, adding fabric rings, and heat pressing them onto the flaps. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail as you will be working on expansion joints, cutting and folding flaps, and punching holes based on measurements. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided, and you will assist in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Read tape measures and accurately mark fabric.

+ Fold flaps and add fabric rings.

+ Heat seal rings to flaps with precision.

+ Punch holes in fabric based on measurements.

+ Maintain a high attention to detail during production.

+ Assist in various production areas as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and assembly.

+ Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use measuring tools.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2+ years in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately read a tape measure.

+ Reliable attendance.

Work Environment

Work in a small workshop with 6-8 other employees, fostering a close-knit team environment. Please note that the workspace is not temperature controlled.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bath, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
