    Job Title: Forklift Operator

     

    Pay: $20.70 - $21/hr

    Shifts:

    5AM - 1:30PM

    9AM - 5:30PM

    7:30am - 4PM

    Job Description

    The ideal candidate is team-oriented, works well with others, and places a strong emphasis on attention to detail and safety. This position encompasses a wide variety of warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks, shipping via UPS, and receiving. Candidates will also inspect, re-box, and re-strap pallets and returns. This role involves frequent movement, including adjusting forklift blades and handling smaller items on the dock.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload trucks efficiently.

    + Ship and receive goods via UPS.

    + Inspect, re-box, and re-strap pallets and returns.

    + Read and sign Bills of Lading (BOLs).

    + Adjust forklift blades and move smaller items as needed.

    + Participate in safety training and adhere to safety standards.

    + Engage in general housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with inventory management and material handling.

    + Proficiency in using RF scanners.

    + Ability to perform general labor tasks including loading and order picking.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Forklift experience is welcomed but not required.

    + Strong attention to detail and good attendance record.

    + Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

    Work Environment

     

    Our warehouse environment is dynamic, involving a mix of tasks and requiring adaptability. The workspace is cool to cold in winter and can be very hot in summer. Training includes a computer-based safety program followed by hands-on training on the floor. Shifts are Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed. We offer opportunities for forklift certification for the right candidates.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $20.70/hr.
