    Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing various onsite equipment, including forklifts, welders, overhead cranes, saws, sandblast and paint booths, and facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and HVAC systems. The candidate may work from schematics or workbooks to perform repairs.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as forklifts, welders, and overhead cranes.

    + Perform facilities maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs and maintaining HVAC systems.

    + Work with motors up to 440 Volts, focusing primarily on mechanical breakdowns.

    + Troubleshoot electrical issues and coordinate with external vendors for complex electrical repairs.

    + Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance system, ensuring timely and efficient equipment operation.

    + Collaborate with another maintenance technician to support plant operations and equipment functionality.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of experience in mechanical troubleshooting with hydraulics, pneumatics, and hand tools.

    + 1 year of experience in electrical work, including 110 Volt systems, wiring, and conduit installation.

    + Experience in preventative maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the RV industry is advantageous.

    + Previous experience repairing welders, overhead cranes, and paint booths.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on a first shift schedule from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The maintenance department is dedicated to ensuring all plant equipment is operational, working alongside a fellow maintenance technician in a safety-oriented environment

    This is a Permanent position based out of Bridgman, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
