    Job Title: Rigging Specialist** **Job Description

     

    Join a dynamic team in Maryland as a Rigging Specialist, where you will lead a crew in machinery-moving, rigging, and installation projects. This hands-on role involves working with forklifts, cranes, skates, jacks, and various rigging equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead a crew in machinery-moving, rigging, and installation jobs.

    + Operate forklifts, cranes, skates, jacks, and rigging gear.

    + Plan lifts, provide direction, and ensure work safety.

    + Load, move, set, and align machines and equipment.

    + Read and follow lift plans, drawings, and layouts.

    + Complete basic job paperwork and communicate with customers as needed.

    + Travel to different job sites when required.

    Essential Skills

    + 10+ years in the rigging industry with experience in jacking and skating.

    + 5 years of experience with cranes.

    + 5 years of experience in jacking and skating.

    + Experience in a lead rigger position.

    + Certified rigger.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Forklift experience preferred but not required.

    + Certified rigger preferred but not required.

    Work Environment

    Work will involve three main divisions: Heavy Mechanical and Electrical, Heavy Industrial Equipment, and Artifacts and Sculptures. The role will require outdoor work.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beltsville, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $47.00/hr.
