    Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include working at various stations, inspecting and packaging products, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. You will be a vital part of our production process, contributing to maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Work at different stations as production requires.

    + Inspect, weigh, and package products.

    + Empty the bailer when full.

    + Assist and help prepare rolls for machine operators.

    + Monitor the flow of products into processing machinery.

    + Verify compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.

    + Report potential downtime, production scrap, and machine quality issues.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping around the bailer.

    + Use a tape measure accurately.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, machine operation, and packaging.

    + Proficiency with using a tape measure.

    + Ability to perform cycle counts.

    + General labor skills in packing and shipping.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 6 months of prior warehouse or manufacturing experience.

    Work Environment

    Our manufacturing environment features running machines in a start-up setting located in the Chambersburg, PA area, with a corporate location in Illinois. This position is for the 2nd shift, from 7 PM to 7 AM or 5 PM to 3 AM, with a requirement to train during the 1st shift for several weeks. The 1st shift/training hours are Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday, 7 AM to 3 PM. Flexibility to work 10-hour days, including Saturdays, is required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
