Job Title: HVAC/R Service Technician** **Job Description

As an HVAC/R Service Technician, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on HVAC/R systems to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency across various facilities. You will apply your HVAC/R knowledge to improve action plans and guide others while collaborating with company policies and data.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems, EMS, and digital controls.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance and manage workloads with external providers.

+ Track refrigerant levels and parts usage.

+ Order and manage HVAC/R parts and supplies.

+ Maintain supplier and contractor relationships.

+ Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local HVAC/R regulations and follow OSHA and EPA guidelines.

+ Model ethical behavior and company values in daily operations.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC/R, PM, and troubleshooting.

+ Experience in plumbing, electrical, repair, and preventive maintenance.

+ Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls, OR 4 years of experience in a related field.

+ Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Valid Driver's license and a clean driving record.

+ Shift flexibility.

+ Ability to move through narrow, confined spaces and over uneven surfaces.

+ Capability to work with substances requiring special handling.

Work Environment

This role involves traveling to various retail and distribution locations. You will be provided with a service van and tools. The position requires working in diverse environments, including exposure to varying temperatures, wet, damp, or drafty conditions, and at heights. Work may be required overnight and shifts may vary.

This is a Permanent position based out of DeSoto, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $84000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
