• Machine Operator- Night Shift

    Job Title:** **Machine Operator (Night Shift)

    **Pay-** $19/hr- $24/hr

    **Location:** Shelbyville, KY

    Job Summary:

    The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining press lines during night shifts. This includes machine start-up, running, changeovers, and shut-down while ensuring compliance with safety standards and production specifications. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Operate press lines efficiently, including start-up, running, changeovers, and shut-down.

    + Complete all required documentation accurately (production reports, QA sheets, ink usage, roll tickets, etc.).

    + Direct and assist press crew to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

    + Train and guide assistants to meet performance standards.

    + Ensure compliance with product safety and quality specifications.

    + Follow 5S and WCM initiatives, including cross-training and continuous improvement.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

    Essential Skills & Qualifications:

    + Minimum 3 year of manufacturing and Machine operating experience.

    + Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and stand for extended periods.

    + Basic computer skills for data entry.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Knowledge of machine operation, lamination, and packaging processes.

     

    Preferred Skills: Ready to start immediately with Aerotek.

     

    + Previous experience as a machine operator or lamination operator.

    + Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Willingness to learn and adapt to new machinery

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
