Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to handle multiple types of machinery within our facility. This role involves operating CO2 & Fiber Optic CNC Laser Machines, I-Beam Saw Machines, high-definition machines, beam line machines, and Break Press. As part of our team, you will be cross-trained on various machines to enhance your skill set.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a variety of machines including CO2 & Fiber Optic CNC Laser Machines, I-Beam Saw Machines, and Break Press.

+ Participate in cross-training on different machines within the facility.

+ Ensure smooth and efficient machine operation for custom fabrication projects.

+ Maintain precision and accuracy in machine operations to meet production standards.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of industrial machine operating experience, or completion of machining school.

+ Experience in operating CNC machines, break press, CNC mill, CNC lathe, or laser machines.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a metal environment is required.

+ Forklift and overhead crane experience is advantageous.

+ Proficiency with press brake, calipers, and micrometer is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
