    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the proper operation of HVAC systems, pumps, electrical distribution, and other essential systems within a healthcare setting. Your role will include the repair and maintenance of these systems, responding to work orders for general equipment and system breakdowns, and performing general carpentry and furniture assembly or movement. Additionally, you will conduct preventative maintenance and equipment repairs while making rounds through the facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Check equipment and facilities for proper operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems.

    + Respond to work orders for general equipment and systems breakdowns.

    + Perform general carpentry.

    + Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment repair.

    + Make rounds through the facility, read various gauges, and make adjustments as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and boiler operation.

    + Proficiency in construction, carpentry, pneumatics, and stationary engineering.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance.

    + Familiarity with industrial machinery, refrigeration, piping, wiring, lighting, and mechanical systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + One year of experience in any trade, with the flexibility to train for the specific job requirements.

    + Ability to read schematics or blueprints.

    + Boiler maintenance or operation experience is advantageous.

    + Tech school diploma in a trade is a plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
