Job Title: Data Center Electrical Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join the Design Services Team, supporting the development of next-generation data centers. This contract role focuses on delivering high-performance electrical design solutions for hyperscale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electrical system design, strong proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling, and experience in designing control systems for large-scale commercial or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

+ Design electrical systems for hyperscale data center infrastructure.

+ Utilize Revit for 3D modeling to develop comprehensive electrical design solutions.

+ Develop and implement control systems to maintain optimal environmental conditions in data centers.

+ Ensure electrical design meets power distribution requirements and other critical environmental controls.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of Electrical Design experience in Revit.

+ Experience in large mission-critical industries such as Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas.

+ Proficiency in designing mechanical control systems.

+ Strong experience in electrical engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 5+ years of experience with the design of Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, Hospitals, Schools, or highly complex Commercial Tower facilities.

+ Ability to evaluate the constructability of new technologies and determine construction methods.

+ Capability to perform and present business case analysis.

+ Innovative problem-solving skills to reduce costs without compromising quality or reliability.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, though candidates who wish to work in an office environment may choose to do so. The role has a budget and intention for a minimum of a 12-month duration, with the likelihood to extend further to a full 24 months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
