    What You’ll Do

    + Hands-on Innovation: Install lab equipment and test fixtures, and conduct high-current tests on safety gear and electrical apparatus like switches, breakers, and transformers.

    + Technical Expertise: Perform routine electrical and mechanical tests, investigations, and technical studies across multiple disciplines.

    + Precision & Quality: Prepare samples for testing—think compression connectors, epoxy resin terminations—and ensure safe, efficient setups.

    + Lab Leadership: Maintain clean, organized, and fully functional test labs and facilities.

    + Problem-Solving: Install and repair equipment, instrumentation, and test fixtures as needed.

    + Operational Support: Handle documentation, record-keeping, and administrative tasks to keep projects running smoothly.

    What You Bring

    + Technical Skills:

    + Proficiency in transmission line testing and electro-mechanical lab work.

    + Experience with data analysis, field data acquisition, and testing validation.

    + Familiarity with fiber optics, vibration analysis, tensile and strength testing.

    + Knowledge of LabView, electrical circuits, schematics, and mechanical theory.

    + Education:

    + Associate’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Technology (or equivalent experience).

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
