The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, skilled Banquet Supervisor to our education team in New York, NY. As a Banquet Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to ensure the success of banquet events by working with a team of talented foodservice professionals.

Thirty years ago Cater to You Food Service began providing lunch programs to independent schools. Today, CTY prepares more than 13,000 fresh meals daily for students ranging from pre-schoolers to high school seniors. Our wholesome offerings are always created on-site, from scratch, using better-for-you premium products. Cater to You Food Service is looking for enthusiastic and committed team members to help us grow and continue to create better-for-you food for school children.

Your Pay:

Pay Range: $50 / hr

What you'll be doing:

+ Participating in food preparation.

+ Training and instructing employees in all aspects of service, including food preparation and safety.

+ Coordinating set up and strike of events as needed.

+ Personally adhering to and ensuring that employees follow all company policies and procedures regarding food handling, food safety, and sanitation.

+ Other tasks as needed.

What we're looking for:

_Must-haves:_

+ At least two years’ experience in foodservice.

+ Excellent customer service skills.

+ Strong leadership skills.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

_Nice-to-haves:_

+ At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
