    Payroll Specialist:

    We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Payroll Specialist to join our laid-back yet hardworking team. This role goes beyond standard payroll processing—you’ll dive into data, validate reports, and ensure accuracy through reconciliation and problem-solving.     Qualifications:

    Associates degree required

     

    2+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience

     

    Experience processing multi-state and minimum 300+ employees

     

    Advanced Excel knowledge with pivot tables and VLOOKUPS

    What You’ll Do:

    + Process bi-weekly payroll for 300+ multi-state employees using UKG/UltiPro.

    + Pull and validate payroll reports—manually recreate reports in Excel to confirm accuracy.

    + Perform payroll reconciliations and assist with journal entries (training provided).

    + Manage Time & Attendance and maintain precise payroll records.

    + Research and resolve payroll inquiries with a customer service mindset.

    + Support audits for retirement plans and workers’ compensation.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downey, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr.
