    TEKsystems (Carrollton, TX)


    Overview:

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team. This role focuses on handling urgent loan files that require quick turnaround—often within 24 hours. You will manage a high-volume queue, make critical corrections, and ensure compliance with investor guidelines. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac standards and experience working with a variety of loan products.

    Responsibilities:

    + Process urgent loan files and ensure closings within tight deadlines.

    + Manage a queue of 40–50 loans and prioritize tasks effectively.

    + Make adjustments to cash-to-close amounts, debt-to-income (DTI) ratios, and seller credits.

    + Restructure loans as needed during closing.

    + Review borrower documentation, including credit reports and bank statements.

    + Apply investor guidelines and add conditions to loans.

    + Collaborate with branch operations teams to resolve issues and finalize loans.

    Qualifications:

    + 3–5 years of loan processing experience.

    + Strong understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines.

    + Experience with conventional loans, FHA, and VA loans.

    + Knowledge of VA funding fees and COE requirements.

    + Ability to identify and verify documentation, including large deposits.

    + Experience with purchase transactions (not just refinances).

    + Encompass experience preferred.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
