School Psychologist (PEL) – 2026–2027 School Year

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week

Pay Rate: $80–$85 per hour

Contract Duration: Fall 2026 through end of 2026–2027 school year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist with a Professional Educator License (PEL) to provide psychological services for students in a collaborative, supportive environment. This position focuses on mental health and developmental needs, conducting evaluations, and assisting in the qualification process for additional support services.

Key Responsibilities

+ Conduct psychological assessments and interventions for students in grades 3–5.

+ Support one specialized instruction classroom and manage a small number of referrals.

+ Collaborate with families and educational teams to develop individualized plans.

+ Provide counseling and behavioral support as needed.

+ Work across multiple nearby locations within walking distance; flexibility required.

+ Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and professional standards.

Minimum Requirements

+ Current Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement.

+ Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred).

+ Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations.

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).

+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required).

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

+ Start Date: Fall 2026

+ End Date: End of 2026–2027 school year

+ Hours: Approximately 8:05 AM – 3:15 PM (30-minute unpaid break)

+ Modality: On-site role
