Job Summary
Auburn University Facilities Management is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Administrative Support Assistant to join our team.
The Administrative Support Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Access Control office by delivering exceptional administrative and customer service assistance. This position is responsible for coordinating key issuance and returns through departmental software, maintaining accurate records and billing for keys and access requests, and ensuring proper documentation. Serving as a primary point of contact, the role provides timely and professional support to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Additionally, this position helps facilitate smooth daily operations by managing communications, assisting staff, and upholding accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

Essential Functions
+ Coordinate key issuance and returns using departmental software.
+ Maintain accurate records, documentation, and billing for keys and access requests.
+ Serve as a primary point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
+ Manage communications to support efficient daily operations.
+ Assist staff with administrative tasks and workflow needs.
+ Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all documentation and service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
**Level I-** High school diploma or equivalent.
**Level II-** High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in clerical support services
Substitutions allowed for Experience:
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.
Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications

+ Standard knowledge of office functions.
+ Working knowledge of Auburn University administrative systems appropriate to the position.
