Job Description
An international banking client is looking for a Team Lead for the Trade Services organization. Lead and support day-to-day operations for Trade Services, including issuance and processing of Commercial and Standby Letters of Credit (L/Cs), amendments, and collections. Ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency while leveraging technology to optimize workflows. Provide guidance on trade products to internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process Commercial and Standby L/Cs and documentary collections.
- Examine import/export documents and perform OFAC screening.
- Advise on export L/Cs and resolve complex issues with legal and internal teams.
- Log, scan, and organize incoming documents; maintain accurate records.
- Conduct annual risk reviews and recommend process improvements.
- Monitor portfolio (acceptances/L/Cs) and report irregular transactions promptly.
- Ability assign work and review all outgoing work

Skills and Requirements
Experience: Minimum 10 years in banking and Trade Services.
Education: Bachelor’s in Business or Finance preferred.
Knowledge: UCP 600, ISP 98, URC 522; trade finance operations; banking regulations.
Technical Skills: CIBAR, GFTS/GIFTWEB, ACBS, MS Office.
Competencies: Detail-oriented, problem-solving, multitasking, strong communication.
