Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Engineer where you will play a pivotal role in creating manufacturing instructions, designing tooling, and implementing cost reduction projects. Your expertise will help shape our innovative production processes and contribute to our legacy of excellence.
Responsibilities
+ Create manufacturing instructions including bill of material, process routing, and cost estimates.
+ Design tooling and shop aids used in the production process.
+ Identify and implement cost reduction projects on legacy products.
+ Make material and construction recommendations as needed.
+ Provide tool designs as required.
+ Document processes and procedures.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years’ experience in production engineering, preferably in the aerospace arena.
+ Ability to estimate run times for machining and assembly operations.
+ ERP systems knowledge and Microsoft Office experience.
+ Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ College degree (Bachelor preferred) in Materials or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
+ Additional technical coursework preferred.
+ Good English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with employees and customers on various levels.
+ Proficiency in math, including geometry and trigonometry.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $45.67/hr.
