Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior React Developer to join one of our largest financial service clients and sit remotely in India. This candidate will be joining the Technology Services Group to help enhance their Data Collector Framework. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining user interfaces using React, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will handle coding, integration testing, bug fixes, implementation, and ongoing support of the delivered product, including developing, testing, and debugging TypeScript code and working with state management libraries such as Zustand and TanStack Query. You will use GitLab for version control and code reviews, ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design, and maintain and support existing application functionality. The position also involves following coding standards and best practices, documenting UI component designs and API specifications, and collaborating closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, intuitive applications that meet the needs of users in the monitoring space.

Skills and Requirements

- 10+ years of experience as a UI developer with a focus on React

- Proficient in React, including hooks, context, and component lifecycle.

- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.

- Experience in working with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.

- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

- Experience in Performance Optimization like virtualization, batching, throttling/debouncing.

- Experience in writing unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
