In this role, you will:
+ Provide leadership and program management oversight supporting a large, complex development program, assuring the project meets financials, schedule, and technical objectives, and achieves the highest level of customer satisfaction.
+ Develop program/project plans specifying goals, staffing needs, schedule milestones, risks and contingency plans.
+ Direct program activities to meet work objectives and serves as a liaison with customers to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
+ Identify and mitigate risks and document program progress including implementation, timelines, issues, risks, quality and successes measures to meet contractual requirements.
+ Communicate with all levels of BAE Systems senior management regarding program performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives.
+ Manage program scope and cost estimating, including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processes.
This position has a need for consistent, in-person collaboration and many job requirements must be done onsite due to the nature of this particular role, therefore full-time on-site work is preferred although occasional hybrid work is possible. This means the majority of work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ US Citizen, Secret Clearance with ability to achieve SAP/SAR.
+ Bachelor's Degree in a technical (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science) or business-related discipline
+ Minimum 6 year of Defense Industry experience.
+ Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functional teams.
+ A desire to learn and an aptitude for working in a fast-paced, highly technical development environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Project management or program office experience, or experience leading a team
+ Scope management experience
+ Experience interfacing with customers
+ Experience on development programs
+ Risk and opportuntity management experience
+ Control Account Management and Earned Value Management experience
+ Proposal experience
+ Master of Science and/or MBA.
+ PMP certifications.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
