Manufacturing Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising Assembly and Test Operators, and monitoring, maintaining, and controlling direct functions within the manufacturing shop.

Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Train or coach employees on administrative or technical processes and procedures.

+ Ensure the safety of employees.

+ Ensure that workers have the necessary equipment and prints to perform their duties.

+ Resolve production issues and escalate those that require management attention.

+ Educate employees on quality standards and procedures.

+ Develop work instructions and procedures for manufacturing processes.

+ Conduct performance review and formal performance/career development discussions with direct reports.

+ Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:

+ High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)

+ Experience in supervisory roles preferred.

+ Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.

+ Ability to read, interpret, and cany out written and oral instructions; write legibly.

+ Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
