Job Duties: Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest produce. Use hand tools, shovels, hoes, tampers, brooms, rakes, pruning shears, and ladders. Clean, pack, sort, slice, box, load and transport harvested products. Maintain trellis and fences. Participate in irrigation activities for all crops. Set up and operate, maintain equipment, vehicles, tractors, forklifts and tractor drawn machinery, ie, spreaders, mowers, plows, cultivators, disks. Work with small engine equipment. Maintain buildings and grounds. Assist in the production of apple cider, peel, slice apples and other apple products.

This job involves manual labor: Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.

All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment.

Employees are expected to keep employer-provided vehicles clean and free of trash.

### Minimum Education Required

No High School Diploma or GED required.

### Minimum Experience Required

3 months of experience.

Must be 18 years of age.

Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.

Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone.

Workers may not post or remove notices, signs, or other instructions from the employers bulletin boards or the employers property without specific authorization from the employer.

### Job Benefits

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.

Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
