    Job Description

    Pay Range: $29–$32/hour

     

    Utilizing DFA tractor and trailer, to transport raw milk from depot to processing plant.

    What You’ll Do

    + Operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices

    + Following dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, travels to location to transport raw milk

    + Takes measures to minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption

    + Verify proper documentation (Load number/Seal numbers/etc.) to validate load delivery and destination

    + Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade level

    + Always represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnel

    Requirements

    + High School diploma or GED preferred

    + Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or able to obtain)

    + 1+ year CDL experience or FMCSA-approved driving school graduate

    + 21 years or older and meets all DOT requirements

    + Knowledge of DOT rules and safety regulations

    + Clear English communication (written and verbal)

    + Basic math and measurement skills

    + Strong organization, recordkeeping, and reliability
