What You’ll Do

We’re looking for internet culture geeks, meme aficionados, TikTok natives, who love staying on top of the latest cultural phenomenon to inspire and create cool s***.

As a Content Creator, you will work as part of a dynamic, trend-savvy team focused on producing engaging social-first content for a range of exciting brands. Your role will involve ideating, shooting, editing, and delivering content that captures the latest internet and social media trends, with an emphasis on lo-fi, TikTok-driven media.

You’ll collaborate with senior creators, social strategists, and creative leads to ensure that the content is fresh, innovative, and aligned with brand goals. This role is a great fit for someone who loves internet culture, memes, and staying ahead of social media trends. You’ll contribute to everything from brainstorming new ideas to bringing those concepts to life, with a hands-on approach to creating content across various platforms.

+ You’re passionate about internet culture, memes, and social media trends, with a strong presence on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and others.

+ You’re excited to create and share social-first content that is visually engaging and relevant to today’s digital landscape.

+ You’re skilled at video creation, from filming to editing, and you understand how to apply lo-fi, viral aesthetics to content.

+ You’re a hands-on, "make-it-happen" person who loves seeing ideas come to life.

+ You work well in a collaborative team environment but are also capable of owning projects from start to finish.

+ You’re eager to learn from senior team members and grow your skills in social media content creation.

Responsibilities:

+ Ideate and create social-first content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and emerging media.

+ Participate in brainstorming sessions and trend reports to share ideas and insights into current trends.

+ Film and edit video content using both in-app tools and editing software.

+ Collaborate with social strategists and senior creators to ensure that content is on-brand and relevant to the target audience.

+ Stay on top of trending formats, sounds, effects, and styles, and incorporate them into your work.

+ Assist in writing captions, copy, and rationale to accompany your video content.

+ Engage off-feed while understanding/embodying a brand’s TOV.

+ Maintain a keen eye for detail and aesthetics while working on a variety of content types, from quick-turn viral videos to more polished campaigns.

Qualifications

Qualifications

+ 2-5 years of experience in content creation for social media, either at an agency, brand, or as a freelancer.

+ Strong understanding of major social platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram, and how that specifically applies to brands.

+ Proficiency with in-app editing tools and familiarity with professional editing software like Premiere (experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus).

+ A creative and flexible approach to video production, with the ability to adapt to new trends and platforms quickly.

+ Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

+ A portfolio of content that demonstrates your ability to create engaging and relevant social media content.

Compensation Range: $45-65.00 an hour. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
