Role

We are looking for a Mac/iOS Developer based in San Jose, CA (Hybrid) reporting to the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering in the Endpoint Engineering department. The Mobile team at Zscaler develops a cross-platform client application for MacOS and IOS to securely steer endpoint traffic to Zscaler cloud. You will bring your vision and passion to a team of experts enabling organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility with a cloud-first strategy.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

+ Develop both MAC and iOS applications and frameworks while translating product requirements into high-quality code

+ Work with product managers to translate designs and mockups into performant and responsive code

+ Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application through rigorous standards

+ Maintain code quality, coding standards, and automation across the development lifecycle

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer escalations to ensure a seamless user experience

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

+ Extensive professional experience working with Objective C, Swift, and C++ Deep knowledge of design principles, patterns, and architectural best practices

+ Proven experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

+ Comprehensive knowledge of the Mac/iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

+ Network stack development experience, specifically for VPN or ZTNA client applications

+ Demonstrated experience with PKI and network security technologies

+ Familiarity with cloud message APIs and Apple Push Notifications

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$154,000—$220,000 USD
