This platform accelerates and automates RAV insights for the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) to help reduce RAV spend and improve service quality. You’ll partner with data engineers and business stakeholders to uncover patterns in large, complex datasets, build dashboards/models, and deliver decision intelligence across the RAV ecosystem.

    Responsibilities:

+ Undertake statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and insight generation for the RAV platform

+ Perform deep‑dive analyses on RAV vehicles to detect early indicators and recommend actions to prevent/mitigate RAV

+ Visualize validation results, analyses, and predictions using Power BI to deliver clear qualitative and quantitative insights

+ Execute quick‑turn studies for urgent business questions by mining, managing, and exploring large, high‑dimensional structured and unstructured datasets (e.g., RAV, quality, repair orders, repeat visits, parts orders/supply, service, warranty claims, recalls)

+ Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, data engineers, software engineers, and other data scientists to test pipelines, validate outputs, and launch new platform capabilities and insights into production for maximum business value

+ Communicate, present, and interpret analytical results to non‑technical audiences, cross‑functional teams, and leadership on a regular basis

    Qualifications:

+ Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Econometrics, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

+ 3+ years of Python experience for data manipulation, analysis, and model development

+ 3+ years working with large, high‑dimensional structured and unstructured data, including preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering

+ 1+ year experience working with Power BI. Ability to build and publish dashboards and reports; create clean visuals and basic measures; model simple datasets; and manage refresh/scheduled updates

+ 1+ years of hands‑on experience with analytical techniques such as forecasting, regression, and machine learning (including deep learning, neural networks, and ensemble methods), including training, evaluation, and fine‑tuning

+ Experience using Generative AI (e.g., Gemini/LLMs) to derive insights, automate analysis, or enhance decision intelligence

    Preferred qualifications

+ PhD or additional graduate research in a quantitative field

+ 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL) and Looker Studio

+ 5+ years of experience with Python and SQL

+ 5+ years of experience in big data manipulation, statistical analysis, modeling, optimization, and AI/ML/LLM development

+ 2+ Years experience in Power BI. Dimensional modeling (star schemas), DAX and Power Query/M, performance tuning, row-level security and deployment pipelines

+ Prior automotive industry experience involving complex quantitative analytics and modeling

+ Strong problem formulation and problem‑solving skills; comfortable with ambiguity

+ Curious, proactive, detail‑oriented; able to context switch and manage multiple priorities; fast learner in both theory and coding
