We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our team and play a key role in bridging business needs with innovative technology solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally, influence system design, and contribute to impactful projects that drive efficiency, scalability, and business value.

Business Requirements and Discovery

+ Partner closely with technical product owners, IT teams, and business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and system needs.

+ Lead interviews, workshops, and analysis sessions to gather and clearly document business and functional requirements.

+ Collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to design scalable and feasible solutions that align with business goals.

System Analysis and Design

+ Evaluate existing systems, applications, and workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

+ Create clear functional specifications, system requirements, and workflow documentation.

+ Ensure proposed designs align with business expectations, technical standards, and long-term architecture strategies.

Project Delivery and Implementation

+ Support project planning activities including scope definition, timelines, and resource estimation.

+ Work closely with project managers, developers, and cross-functional teams throughout implementation.

+ Participate in and support functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement and Support

+ Serve as a trusted liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.

+ Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to help end users fully leverage system capabilities.

Data, Reporting, and Insights

+ Collaborate with data and analytics teams to ensure accurate data integration and reporting.

+ Design and maintain dashboards and reports that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Quality Assurance and UAT Leadership

+ Define acceptance criteria for features and user stories to ensure clarity and quality.

+ Partner with QA teams to develop test plans and validate readiness for release.

+ Lead user acceptance testing efforts to confirm solutions meet both business and technical requirements.

Product Launch and Post-Launch Support

+ Coordinate product and feature releases with release management, DevOps, and support teams.

+ Monitor performance after launch, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvements.

+ Provide post-release support to address issues and enhance user satisfaction.

Risk Management and Compliance

+ Ensure business applications comply with regulatory and security standards, including SOX, PCI-DSS, and other financial regulations.

+ Work with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities and strengthen application security.

+ Support audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning for critical systems.

Continuous Improvement

+ Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

+ Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and overall business performance.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

+ At least 3 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.

+ Experience with low-code platforms, SQL, and data visualization tools is highly preferred.

+ Exposure to microservices architecture, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and modern cloud-native applications.

+ Hands-on experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, or container-based workflows.

+ Relevant certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe are a plus.

Skills and Competencies

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis.

+ Proficiency with business analysis and process modeling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.

+ Familiarity with project management and tracking tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, or Asana.

+ Solid understanding of business processes and enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM platforms.

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.

+ Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

+ Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

+ Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and systems in a fast-paced setting.
