Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to help translate business requirements and functional specifications into code modules and software solutions. This includes assisting with the implementation and maintenance of business software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. This role participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, develop, test, and debug of business software applications and project implementation.

This internship is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting-edge technology, collaborative workspaces, an on-site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.
Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to complete key tactical activities in support the successful delivery of information security tools and processes. This includes contributing to efforts across the various information security domains, with a focus on supporting well-defined and stable processes and procedures.
The individual in this role grows their understanding across the various tools and processes supported by the team and starts to make key connections between information security and other parts of Technology. They receive regular guidance and direction from more senior level associates on the team.

What You Will Learn
+ Assists with translating business requirements and specifications into code modules and software solutions; provides insight into recommendations for technical solutions that meet design and functional needs.
+ Configures, build, tests, and debugs the application or technical architecture components by leveraging various software development methodologies and programming languages.
+ Participates in developing core modules, code reviews, and transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the engineers.
+ Implements and maintains business software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications with guidance from senior colleagues as appropriate.
+ Develops software using modern technologies by following company-wide guidelines and standards while working closely with senior level engineers. Solves technical problems and refines solutions based on feedback from more senior level engineers.
+ Participates in agile ceremonies to discuss action items and provide updates.
Minimum Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Completion of coursework or program focused on software development or related skills (e.g., technology related college coursework, bootcamp, certification program, coding academy)
Preferred Skills/Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
+ 1 year of experience in software development or a related field
+ 1 year of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
+ 1 year of experience in database technologies
+ 1 year of experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization
+ 1 year of experience working with defect or incident tracking software
+ 1 year of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
+ 1 year of experience with Web Services
+ Experience with application and integration middleware

Pay Range: $59,400.00 - $112,900.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
