    **Job Title:** Manufacturing Process Engineer

     

    Our client, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing operations and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Location:** Tucson, Arizona

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Evaluate processes and equipment to ensure safe and efficient production methods.

    + Maintain documentation of processes via process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).

    + Develop and review Heat and Mass Balances, Utility Consumption, Equipment and Installation Specifications.

    + Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.

    + Support capital project development and implementation, including managing project budgets and coordinating project execution and startups.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or related field with relevant experience.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing within a food production or FDA/USDA facility.

    + Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement philosophies and principles.

    + Experience managing project quotes, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management.

    + Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
