We are seeking an experienced** **Primavera P6 Consultant** **to support enterprise-level project scheduling and system integrations for a Google client engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Primavera P6, a solid understanding of the P6 database schema, and experience working within structured SDLC environments. This role involves close collaboration with project controls, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate scheduling, reporting, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide end-to-end functional support for **Primavera P6 scheduling** , including project setup, WBS development, activity management, logic development, baselining, and progress updates
+ Develop and maintain **logic-driven, CPM-compliant schedules** with minimal use of constraints
+ Support resource and cost loading, forecasting, and schedule performance analysis
+ Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling, data integrity, and performance issues within P6
+ Understand and leverage the **P6 database schema** to support reporting, validation, and integration efforts
+ Collaborate with technical teams on **P6 API-based integrations** , including data mapping and validation
+ Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional solutions
+ Develop and review **integration design documents, functional specifications, and test cases**
+ Support testing activities including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
+ Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, best practices, and SDLC processes
+ Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and user support as required
Required Qualifications
+ Strong functional expertise in **Oracle Primavera P6** , including end-to-end scheduling concepts
+ In-depth understanding of **CPM scheduling principles** , float analysis, baselines, and progress measurement
+ Working knowledge of the **Primavera P6 database schema** and underlying data structures
+ Experience working within a **Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)** framework
+ Proven ability to write or contribute to **integration design documents, functional specifications, and test cases**
+ Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
+ Experience supporting large, complex, enterprise-level projects
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with **Primavera P6 APIs** (SOAP/REST)
+ Exposure to integrations with ERP, financial, or time-tracking systems
+ Basic SQL knowledge for reporting or data analysis
+ Prior consulting or client-facing experience
+ Experience working in fast-paced, technology-driven environments
