    Duties Description Assist Unit Director with strategic direction and establishing priorities for supervision of 18-person unit, in regional office locations throughout the state, responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families contacting the Justice Center.• Assist with all grant management responsibilities and reporting.• Directly supervise a team of regionally placed supervisors who lead a team of advocates throughout the state.• Provide technical assistance and develop the processes and procedures necessary to promote and enhance the Individual and Family Support Unit’s functions.• Modify processes and conduct quality assurance to enhance efficiency of response to stakeholder concerns and to ensure accuracy of data for reporting purposes.• Assist with implementation of Key Performance Initiatives and Internal Control processes.• Provide oversight and support of special projects and contact merging processes for IFSU.• Foster communication with key State Oversight agencies of the Justice Center and facilitate responses to cases.• Engage in and expand opportunities for outreach to parents, individuals, crime victim/law enforcement, and self-advocacy groups.• Collaborate with different business units of the Justice Center to assist with the preparation and delivery of advocacy-related training or presentation materials.• Create, review, and provide reporting on metrics, trends, and other relevant data related to unit functions.• In the absence of the Director, assume needed duties to ensure operations.• Statewide travel required 30%.

     

    Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a human services field AND four years of experience as an advocate or service provider in the field of rehabilitation, developmental disabilities or mental health; ORA master's degree in a human services field AND three years of experience as an advocate or service provider in the field of rehabilitation, developmental disabilities or mental health.+Preferred experience- knowledge of and experience with victim-centered trauma informed approaches for supporting victims of abuse/neglect and their families.
