Our client, a leading organization in the technology and logistics sector, is seeking an Asset Coordinator to join their team. As an Asset Coordinator, you will be part of the IT department supporting inventory management and asset deployment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Asset Coordinator
**Location:** New Roads, Louisiana
What's the Job?
+ Receive, inspect, and document incoming IT assets such as laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
+ Maintain accurate records of IT assets using inventory management systems.
+ Organize and manage the stockroom, ensuring assets are labeled, stored, and secured properly.
+ Prepare and stage IT hardware for deployment to end users and new hires.
+ Handle equipment returns, warranty replacements, and asset retirements.
What's Needed?
+ High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in IT or inventory management preferred.
+ 1–2 years of experience in IT asset management, stockroom operations, or related fields.
+ Familiarity with IT hardware such as laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, and accessories.
+ Proficiency with inventory tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Excel, or asset management systems).
+ Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
