Temporary Procurement Specialist
**Location:** Wesley Chapel, FL (Onsite)
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Adecco is seeking a **Temporary Procurement Specialist** to support procurement operations for an onsite role in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This position plays a key role in managing procurement execution, supplier coordination, and customer communication within a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
The Procurement Specialist will support and oversee RFQ preparation, quoting activities, supplier management, and order execution. The ideal candidate has experience in third-party procurement outsourcing, team coordination, and supporting high-volume purchasing environments, particularly within **Aerospace and Manufacturing** .
Qualifications
+ Minimum **3 years of procurement experience**
+ Experience in **third-party procurement** and **team coordination**
+ Strong background in **Aerospace and Manufacturing** environments preferred
+ Proven experience supporting high-volume order fulfillment (100,000+ orders for notable clients)
+ Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities – Procurement Execution
+ Review purchase orders and RFQs for completeness, accuracy, lead time, and commercial terms.
+ Prepare, review, and validate supplier quotes to ensure pricing accuracy and compliance.
+ Confirm orders with suppliers, ensuring correct quantities, pricing, lead times, and routing.
+ Track open orders and proactively communicate status updates, shipping details, and documentation to customers.
+ Ensure all orders are shipped accurately and on time; identify and resolve delays before customer impact.
+ Expedite urgent requirements and resolve supply chain constraints as needed.
+ Identify and escalate risks related to long-lead items, late deliveries, pricing changes, or supplier performance.
+ Manage vendor communication regarding availability, minimum order quantities, substitutions, logistics, invoicing, and discrepancies.
+ Resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods, and RMA processes promptly and professionally.
+ Maintain accurate records of orders, quotes, shipment tracking, and supplier correspondence.
Additional Responsibilities – Procurement Management & Operations Oversight
+ Oversee daily procurement activities, prioritize workload, and ensure timely execution of open orders.
+ Support and coordinate teams responsible for RFQ preparation and order execution.
+ Ensure compliance with quality, documentation, and operational standards.
+ Develop, evaluate, and maintain supplier relationships to support competitive pricing and lead times.
+ Serve as an escalation point for urgent customer or supplier issues requiring leadership involvement.
+ Support onboarding of new suppliers and customers as needed.
Customer Service & Communication
+ Provide timely, accurate updates to customers regarding order status, ETAs, pricing, and documentation.
+ Maintain a professional, solutions-focused approach in all internal and external communications.
+ Proactively escalate potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
+ Build customer trust through responsiveness, accountability, and consistent follow-through.
**Pay Details:** $33.00 to $39.00 per hour
