Adecco is assisting a local client in Bridgewater, NJ in their search for a Document Scanning Clerk. This is a fully onsite role for 6 months paying between $18 - $23/Hour. If you meet the qualifications, apply now!
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and unpack storage boxes containing physical files
- Organize and extract documents for scanning
- Operate scanner to digitize documents accurately and efficiently
- Label and index scanned files according to company guidelines
- Upload scanned documents to a designated digital location or repository
- Place scanned physical documents into Shred-It bins for secure destruction
- Coordinate with Shred-It to obtain certificates of destruction
- Break down and recycle empty folders and boxes
Qualifications
- Experience handling confidential documents or working with physical filing systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency (file management, data entry, scanning software)
- Ability to lift and move boxes (up to ~30 lbs.) as needed
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Prior experience in a records management, mailroom, or administrative support role is a plus
**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
