    Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Walnut Creek, California. This is a contract position within the non-profit sector, requiring strong expertise in QuickBooks Online and a deep understanding of grant billing processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a meticulous approach to managing financial operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

    • Perform detailed bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

    • Handle payroll processing for a small team of under 100 employees.

    • Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements to support financial decision-making.

    • Oversee complex grant billing processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.

    • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to address financial inquiries and provide necessary documentation.

    • Monitor and update the organization's financial systems to align with best practices.

    • Generate customized financial reports to meet organizational needs.

    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data for audits and reviews. Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably within the non-profit sector.

    • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online with the ability to manage complex financial tasks.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Expertise in performing bank and credit card reconciliations.

    • Familiarity with payroll processing for small teams.

    • Ability to prepare and interpret profit and loss statements.

    • Experience in managing grant billing and compliance requirements.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
