    Description

    Robert Half is searching for Network Engineer to support a construction company based in Seattle, WA. This Network Engineer will have a main focus of tackling upcoming projects as well as day to day operations. This position is a 6 month contract with the potential to extend or convert and is Hybrid in Seattle, WA (3 days onsite).

    Job Details:

    Duration: 6 month contract with potential to convert

     

    Schedule: Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM

    Job Duties:

    + Collaborate as part of a 3-person Networking team, contributing to both upcoming projects and ongoing network operations.

    + Deploy, and support HPE/Aruba network solutions, including switching, wireless, ClearPass, and Aruba Central.

    + Support the deployment of SD-WAN/SASE solutions to enhance connectivity, scalability, and security.

    + Configure and deploy dynamic routing protocols to optimize enterprise network performance, resilience, and operations.

    + Enhance data center security by developing and deploying network traffic visibility solutions, including application dependency mapping and micro-segmentation.

    + Perform Layer 2/VLAN design and configuration across multiple data centers to ensure efficient and reliable connectivity.

    + Provide troubleshooting and support for day-to-day network operations, ensuring high availability and performance.

    Requirements

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering roles within enterprise environments.

    + Proficiency in identifying, implementing and deploying SD-WAN solutions.

    + Familiarity with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions for secure authentication and access.

    + Advanced knowledge of firewall configuration and deployment, with a focus on security enforcement and threat prevention.

    + Expertise in switching technologies, including VLANs, LACP, and high availability configurations.

    + Hands-on experience network monitoring and alerting, including performance tracking and troubleshooting authentication issues.

    + Solid understanding of Azure networking tools, including vNets, VPNs, and load balancers.
