Description
We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Team Member to join our team in Waterford, New York. In this role, you will contribute to the production and inventory management of high-quality polypropylene vent system components. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, collaborating with a team, and ensuring products meet rigorous quality standards in a clean manufacturing environment. This is a Contract employment opportunity, offering an excellent chance to grow within the manufacturing field with a great company.
Responsibilities:
• Assemble and fabricate plastic components using techniques such as welding, cutting, routing, bending, and shaping.
• Accurately review work orders and instructions to complete manufacturing transactions using internal systems.
• Label and package finished products to ensure accurate identification and delivery.
• Adhere to quality procedures, maintaining high standards in every product manufactured.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with 5S principles.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting to ensure accuracy.
• Efficiently utilize time and equipment to meet production goals while keeping accurate records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Support equipment maintenance, workspace organization, and sanitation efforts.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support team objectives.
Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in plastic or metal welding and fabrication is preferred.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus on tasks.
• Effective communication skills and a self-motivated attitude.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Physical capability to lift and move items weighing 10–50 lbs, as well as to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching frequently. TalentMatch®
