    Description

    Our client, an Oakland-based civil litigation firm that focuses primarily on high-value, complex construction cases is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Secretary to join their team on a contract basis with strong potential for hire if it’s a good fit on both sides. This role will be on-site for the first 30 days of training, and then will be hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote).

    Key Responsibilities:

    + E-filing in state and federal courts

    + Manual calendaring and deadline calculation (knowledge of court rules required)

    + Managing Outlook calendars and litigation deadlines

    + Drafting and formatting legal documents

    + General litigation secretarial and administrative support

    Requirements

    + 3+ years of litigation secretary experience

    + Strong proficiency with e-filing systems

    + Solid experience with manual calendaring and court rules (not just automated systems)

    + Prior civil litigation experience, ideally in construction or complex litigation environments

    + Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal setting
