We are currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to become an integral member of our consulting team. This role will primarily focus on mechanical engineering design for institutional and commercial projects, guiding them from schematic design through construction administration.
Responsibilities
+ Design mechanical systems for institutional and commercial projects.
+ Collaborate with a team of licensed engineers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
+ Engage in schematic design and oversee construction administration.
+ Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for drafting and design tasks.
+ Contribute to the growth and development of junior team members.
Essential Skills
+ 4-10 years of consulting mechanical engineering design experience.
+ Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
+ Strong mechanical design skills, particularly in the MEP industry.
+ A four-year mechanical engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical PE license in the Commonwealth of Virginia is preferred.
+ EIT certification with intentions of obtaining a PE license is a plus.
Work Environment
The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, 40 hours a week, with hybrid flexibility once onboarded and acclimated. The work environment is relaxed and team-centered, emphasizing growth and development, especially for junior candidates. The team is known for its expertise in large institutional and commercial projects in the greater Richmond area.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $49.00/hr.
