Chemist I - Day Shift | Opportunity for Growth | Offers Benefits

Responsibilities

+ Perform a variety of analytical tests using established and evolving methods, including dissolution, assay, impurity profiling, pH, viscosity, titrations, and other USP-based techniques. Lab tests also include HPLC, GC, UPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, etc.

+ Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples for testing, ensuring accuracy and consistency in every step.

+ Document all work clearly and thoroughly so results can be easily reviewed and verified—your attention to detail matters.

+ Collaborate with team members to set up and clean up laboratory equipment, maintain organized workspaces, and contribute to routine lab upkeep.

+ Review raw data for accuracy and compliance with cGMP and internal SOPs, ensuring scientific integrity.

+ Assist in gathering data and documentation for regulatory submissions and technical reports.

+ Take ownership of your projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage time to meet deadlines.

+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab operations.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.

+ 6+ months of hands-on laboratory or industry experience (internship or a few months in a chemistry-related role preferred).

+ Familiarity with analytical techniques and laboratory best practices.

Work Environment

100% Onsite. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
