Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Materials Associate responsible for picking orders using Voxware, a voice-to-pick system. The role involves using headsets, hand devices, and scanners to efficiently complete and assign new orders. Candidates will utilize carts and totes for picking and must be comfortable with lifting up to 50lbs throughout the shift. Training lasts 1-2 weeks, during which candidates will become familiar with our systems and processes.
Responsibilities
+ Use Voxware system and pick sheets to pick and complete orders.
+ Lift up to 50lbs as needed throughout the shift.
+ Maintain attention to detail to ensure correct items are sent.
+ Revisit supervisors after completing orders to receive new assignments.
+ Adhere to delivery times and maintain a sense of urgency.
+ Work in a team of 22 employees including supervisors.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience.
+ Ability to maintain good attendance and a responsible attitude.
+ Sense of urgency and willingness to learn.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with RF scanners, forklifts, and order picking.
+ Attention to detail to avoid sending incorrect items.
+ Stable job history with minimal job hopping.

Work Environment
The warehouse is clean, climate-controlled, and well-organized, providing a comfortable and efficient workspace. The team enjoys a relaxed atmosphere as long as work is completed successfully. Employees can use one headphone to listen to music while staying aware of their surroundings. The facility includes a breakroom with vending machines, a TV, plenty of seating, microwaves, and a fridge. Employees are allowed to leave the site for lunch, clocking out and back in. The dress code is casual, with shorts and short sleeves acceptable, but closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
