    Job Title: Quality Technician

    Job Description

    The Quality Technician will support quality system compliance activities, including reviewing standards and ensuring satisfactory closure of identified gaps. You will help ensure that non-conforming products do not continue through the production process and are not distributed to customers.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct routine quality inspections throughout production, including in-process and final inspections.

    + Use a variety of precision measuring tools to ensure products follow specifications.

    + Perform equipment calibrations and workstation audits.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in manufacturing or machine shop.

    + Proficiency in quality control, quality inspection, and quality assurance.

    + Ability to use test equipment and hand tools.

    + Troubleshooting and mechanical assembly skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Good computer skills.

    + Good documentation skills with strict attention to detail.

    + Knowledge of and adherence to quality systems preferred.

    + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large plant environment that is non-temperature controlled. Be prepared to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs (non-repetitive), and stoop during shifts. The role is available for 1st, 2nd, and overnight shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.13 - $25.63/hr.
