Job Title: Water Resource Engineer/PM
Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Water Resources Engineer/PM to join our dynamic Water Resources Team. This role is based in our Chantilly, VA office and involves working on innovative stormwater design projects that support both new and redevelopment initiatives. Responsibilities
+ Produce final construction documents for water resource projects.
+ Conduct site visits to assess project needs and progress.
+ Develop and submit local and state permit applications.
+ Prepare detailed technical reports.
+ Research and apply regulatory codes, manuals, and standards.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
+ Design various stormwater management facilities, such as bioretentions, green roofs, permeable pavements, and more.
+ Develop stormwater operation and maintenance programs for large SWM asset owners.
+ Model and analyze local and FEMA floodplains for both existing and proposed conditions.
+ Design and permit state-regulated dams, including conducting dam breach inundation studies and developing emergency action plans.
+ Engage in general civil and land development tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
+ 4-10+ years of civil or water resources engineering experience.
+ Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred).
+ Experience with H&H modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-1, and Flowmaster.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) License or the ability to obtain one.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
