Industrial Maintenance Technician's Needed in Gallatin!
Job Description
Responsible for the safe troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
+ Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
+ Adhere to job-specific work instructions related to the job assignment.
+ Receive and interpret instructions, work orders, and blueprints for scheduled and emergency repairs, installations, and inspections.
+ Operate production machinery.
+ Test and inspect equipment for defects and malfunctioning, such as misalignment, wear, failure, insufficient lubrication, and need for improvements.
Essential Skills
+ Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
+ Mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
+ Preventive maintenance and repair skills.
+ Experience with conveyor maintenance, including installation and replacement of rollers, belts, and motors.
+ Ability to troubleshoot 60HP – 100HP motors, heavy equipment, overhead cranes, and related systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with flange bearings and taper locks.
+ Multi-craft technicians should have 30% electrical and 70% mechanical expertise.
+ 480V electrical troubleshooting and 110V AC knowledge for PLC systems.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting and diagnosing, including overhead cranes, heavy equipment, hydraulics, and conveyor systems.
Work Environment
This position is based in a hot and heavy foundry environment, dealing with molten liquid steel. The temperature is usually 10+ degrees hotter than the outside temperature, requiring resilience and the ability to work in challenging conditions. The work schedule follows a 5 on 5 off, 2 on 2 off rotational pattern, switching from day shift to night shift every 2 weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr.
