Job Title: Welder/Fabricator ( Travel required w/ per diem)

Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators to join our Industrial Services Group. This role supports fabrication, erection, plant construction, and maintenance projects across various industries, including mining, aggregate processing, cement, power, and manufacturing. This position is perfect for individuals with strong welding and fabrication abilities who are also comfortable performing millwright-style mechanical work in heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities

+ Perform structural and mechanical fabrication, including layout, cutting, fitting, and welding.

+ Support the erection, installation, dismantling, and maintenance of complex industrial machinery, heavy equipment, and plant systems.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical and structural issues in industrial equipment and processing systems.

+ Execute alignment, assembly, and rebuild activities for plant components and production systems.

+ Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.

+ Follow all MSHA, OSHA, and internal safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.

+ Work on projects nationwide with required travel assignments (per diem provided).

+ Primarily day shifts with flexibility for night shifts if necessary.

Essential Skills

+ 5-10 years of experience with MIG & Stick welding (required).

+ Experience with metal cutting, rigging, fabrication, and structural work.

+ Experience working in mining, aggregates, heavy industrial, or structural erection industries.

+ Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial machinery, conveyors, crushers, screens, material handling systems, or similar equipment.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and plant layout plans.

+ Experience with assembly, alignment, and troubleshooting of plant systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ TIG welding experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maryland Heights, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.51/hr.
