Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in an industrial food manufacturing environment. You will work on a variety of equipment, including vertical fill machines, capping machines, and metal detectors. Your role will involve performing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and production machines. You will also conduct machine changeovers and setups, requiring you to interpret sketches, operations manuals, and troubleshoot effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment such as motors, pneumatic systems, and conveyors.
+ Work on vertical fill machines, capping machines, and metal detectors.
+ Conduct machine changeovers and setups.
+ Interpret sketches and operations manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues confidently.
+ Maintain compliance with GMP regulations, including not wearing jewelry and using PPE as required.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
+ Experience with 480V systems, including wiring, troubleshooting, and repair.
+ Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, gearboxes, conveyor chains, and motors.
+ Ability to read and interpret basic schematics.
+ Physical ability to stand/walk for 10 hours a day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with vertical fill machines, capping machines, and metal detectors is preferred.
+ Experience working in dusty or dirty environments.
+ Bg in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing.

Work Environment
This role operates in a food manufacturing environment, which may be noisy with spices and dust in the air. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and dust masks are required. The work schedule includes a day shift from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 5 pm, and a night shift from Monday to Thursday, 4:45 pm to 3:30 am, with additional shift differential. Strict adherence to attendance and GMP compliance is required, and flexible scheduling is available with prior communication.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SAN ANTONIO, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
