Job Title: Production Supervisor** **Job Description
The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards. This position requires compliance with labor agreements, implementation of corporate policies, and adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.
Responsibilities
+ Meet production cost schedules and maintain quality requirements.
+ Comply with the terms of Local and National Labor agreements.
+ Implement divisional and corporate policies.
+ Implement safety and good housekeeping standards.
+ Maintain frequent contact with others outside the work group.
+ Train, develop, and evaluate employees.
+ Keep management informed of developments as they occur.
+ Maintain corporate management control systems such as audit reports and grievance systems.
+ Maintain department records.
+ Effectively use personnel, materials, and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives.
+ Support plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost goals.
+ Work any assigned shift, including daily, weekend, and holiday overtime as required.
+ Support/implement compliance processes such as QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System.
+ Use power tools or work/troubleshoot heavy machinery in the plant if needed.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5 years experience in production supervision or management.
+ Leadership interest and abilities for effective supervision of employees.
+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills.
+ Understanding of basic technology of the assigned area.
+ High analytical ability to solve complex problems.
+ High interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate employees.
+ Experience working in a represented environment.
+ Knowledge and ability to ensure a safe industrial work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Completion of pre-supervisory assessment program for proper job preparation.
+ Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
+ Experience in automotive manufacturing.
+ Production management skills.
+ Supervisor experience in production assembly.

Work Environment
This role is based in a production/manufacturing environment where adherence to safety and quality standards is paramount. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $36.00/hr.
