Job Title: Assembly
Job Description
This entry-level Assembler role is situated within a valve manufacturing company in the shipping area. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training across all areas of assembly and collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely dispatch of products.
Responsibilities
+ Follow detailed assembly instructions and processes.
+ Adhere to Quality Policy and Procedures, OSHA guidelines, and regulations governing workplace safety.
+ Train other employees on job functions and safety requirements as needed.
+ Perform other duties as requested by team lead.
+ Comply with all company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
+ Respond productively to changes and handle other duties as required.
+ Work independently and utilize effective time management skills.
+ Work overtime as required.
Essential Skills
+ At least 2 years of assembly experience.
+ Experience using hand tools.
+ High School diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience reading blueprints is a plus.
+ Experience with pneumatic equipment is advantageous.

Work Environment
Enjoy working in an air-conditioned environment with a choice of starting shifts at 6 am or 7 am, currently on 10-hour shifts. The facility promotes a comfortable and safety-focused workplace.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
