Job Title: Production Assembler** **Job Description

Responsibilities
+ Batching and mixing using scales.
+ Performing machine operations with hand tools.
+ Operating mechanical equipment.
+ Conducting assembly operations.
+ Following all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
+ Recording data accurately as specified.
+ Maintaining work area in accordance with 5S.
+ Meeting quality, part, and production specifications.
+ Training on and routinely performing up to three Standard Processes.
+ Being a positive, respectful team member who communicates effectively.
+ Communicating issues or concerns to maintain successful operations.
+ Exercising independent judgment within primary job functions.
+ Being punctual and present for work is critical.
+ Assuming all other responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ At least 2 years of small part assembly experience.
+ Proficiency in using small hand tools like calipers, micrometers, screw drills, hand drills, snips, and dryers.
+ At least 6 months of machine operation experience or willingness to learn.
+ Computer literacy, including navigating spreadsheets, watching training videos, and working in test stations.
+ Ability to see color for wiring the correct wires.
+ No issues with dexterity.

Work Environment
Work on the first shift from 5 am to 3:30 pm, with voluntary overtime available after training. Safety is a priority, and the use of PPE is required. The facility encourages a clean and organized workspace following 5S standards. The role requires punctuality and consistent attendance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
